The 12 week FounderX program will start with an in-person orientation event in Bangalore and then will continue virtually for the next 11 weeks, followed by 3 days in-person Convocation week in New Delhi. In the final week, we’ll host an Internal Pitching Practice session, Startup Office Tour and Demo Day at the Convocation.

You have both options available to you. However, we suggest working in teams to get a true “startup founder” experience while building the necessary leadership skills. In team structure, each team will consist of 5-6 fellows interested in the same sector but with complimentary skills. The final idea of a team will be decided mutually between the team members. However, a fellow can opt out to work on their own idea individually.

Our curated cohort will be divided into teams of up to 6 fellows each, grouped by their common interest in a sector but with complementary skills.

The cohort is carefully curated to ensure diverse representation from industries, skill sets, sectors of interest but connected with one common passion – To Become A Startup Founder. The fellows are mid to senior working professionals from Corporates and Startups, Traditional Business Owners, Pre-Revenue Startup Founders and Second Chance Entrepreneurs.

We expect fellows to spend 6-8 hours every weekend attending the live sessions and another 5-6 hours across the week to work on their group assignments.

You’ll get access to the recordings of all the sessions by the next day after a session has concluded.

We want you to experience the full value of the program and participate along with your team in the planned activities, so we request you plan your trip in advance or talk to us about your challenges. However, if it’s unavoidable then you can skip the in-person weekends.

Yes, you’ll meet investors in some of the sessions taught by them as well as at the Demo Day during Convocation where we invite eminent investors.

Yes, there’s a possibility. However, it’s very unlikely because during the program you’ll need to make very concrete progress with your idea and show tangible results through proof of concept, MVP, initial traction, etc. Since most investors don’t invest at the idea stage, they look for concrete proof before considering an investment. You’re allowed to pitch your ideas and business plans to investors at the Demo Day during Convocation. But getting funding is still highly unlikely.

Yes, you will have to bear the cost of travel and stay during the in-person weekends. We will be sharing recommendations for staying mid-way through the program.

Yes, if your application is rejected, we will issue a complete refund within 7-10 days.

Transfers before cohort start: You can defer your admission to the next cohort without any additional fees, as long as the request is submitted before the current cohort begins.

Transfers after cohort start: Deferring admission after the program starts incurs a transfer fee of INR 50,000 or 50% of total fee of the next cohort, whichever is higher.

Eligibility: You must meet the eligibility criteria for the program you wish to transfer to.

Fee Adjustments:

• If the new program has a higher fee, you will need to pay the difference amount to complete your enrollment.
• If the new program has a lower fee, you will receive a refund for the differential amount
